Land Art Generator Initiative

LAGI (a project of Society for Cultural Exchange) brings together interdisciplinary teams to reimagine what renewable energy can aspire to be in its constructed form. WindNest is an entry to the 2010 LAGI design competition.

GTK Flow Analysis

GTK Flow Analysis is leading the computation fluid dynamic analysis and physical model to help determine the flow characteristics of WindNest while in schematic design.

Steeltown Design

Steeltown put together the first 1/6 scale prototype of one of the WindNest pods to help us understand the geometry and to test the effect of the shroud on the performance of a smaller turbine.

C & C Tooling

Clyde Ross at C & C Tooling put together the prototype model that allowed us to test WindNest under a variety of simulated wind conditions.
